citric acid , hot water almost boiling in a mason jar soak and agitate till it has cooled , rinse and dry on a towel.

no lead issues , no dust , no special tools cheap easy and while it doesn't make the brass bright and shiny it makes them more resistant to corrosion.

buy a cheap colander for rising , so you don't use the wife's

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Dry tumbler with walnut because that’s what I have. If it broke and needed replacement, I’d get a wet tumbler. The neighbor has one and it’s a nice tool for the bench.

Ok, now, vibratory, or rotary? Sorry for the questions, but I recently found an outlet for some DIRTY brass! I love to reuse, just wondering which avenue to pursue. Thanks

I was given a big bunch of old dirty brass a few years ago. Vibrating media wasn't enough so I got a wet tumbler with the stainless pins. It's fantastic. I load lots of pistol ammo for 4 or 5 people and now pretty much everything gets wet tumbled. I use an old food dehydrator to dry it. I run the tumbler for an hour with a small squirt of dish soap and maybe a quarter teaspoon of LemiShine. It comes out clean and shiny. Looks new. Flush the drum with clean water a couple of times then tumble for 5 minutes with clean water and then dry it.

I got this one. Frankford Tumbler It's done 30,000 plus cases so far with no trouble. The transfer magnet they offer is really handy. I see they have a smaller one available now for a lot less.

I've had good luck tumbling mine with corn cob media and a shot of Brasso. The shells come out looking newer than new ones.

Remember as a kid we played army and you gave up the fort so the other side got it? Of course you don't. Little kids aren't that stupid.
