NIce job concrete man. Working on set up for our outdoor firepit this fall. I am going to use a full sheet of plywood to dump hot traps onto for cooling and drying so we don't stain our pavers around the pit. I can't remember the last time we boiled/dyed traps over a wood fire and its dang time the boys learned how I did it years ago. Will be picking a bucket of walnuts soon for the job, too.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Had the kids helping me remove grease from the new 160s and removing rust from last years traps. Hope to dye them and wax them soon.
I don't make the same mistake twice. I make it like five or six times, you know, just to be sure.

Soon, real soon I will be sitting over steaming pots of trap soup. It snowed here this weekend, that kinda got me hot and bothered to start trapping prep.

I just have to put tags and anchors on new traps. I had most everything ready during my coffee vacation earlier this year so not much left to do.
Wish I had more time to trap....

Been doing a little howling at night to locate some yotes, driving around my trapline loop picking up turds. Getting antsy for putting traps in the ground
