Been loading 25-06 for 20 years with 4350 and 4064 - I have always used large rifle primers. My Ruger 1V likes the 4350 the best with 100 gr Nosler ballistic tips.

the reloading manual calls for large rifle
any powder charge listed would be correct with large rifle
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I use large mag primers in everything, less S.D. with them for me.

I use large mag primers in everything, less S.D. with them for me. 210m or 215? The 215 is the mag primer. There is no need for them until you get the 300wm case volume. Any smaller than that and it is just too much. The 210m primers are the ones I use.

since all the load books i have checked out say to use a slow burning do yall use mag primers or just large rifle? Large Rifle primer is all u need for 25/06. Like Jerry said save the mag primers for the magnum size charges. Federal. 210 is Lg Rifle and 210M is Lg Rifle Match. (Supposedly better quality control). 215 is the magnum primer.

Cotton I also only use large rifle primers without a change in accuracy or excessive pressure on the fired case . Some powders are temperature sensitive or I should say before these newer modern powders came along that could be a issue. Or if your shooting in a grand national match with a full blown custom target rifle and load each round at or near the bench will it be a problem or concern. Allan

Didn't tell you that you had to use them, just saying what I use, and my SD on all my rifles have went way down, so use what you want, i know they do help.

Anything with an 06 at the end will be fine with a large rifle primer. Even with the slower powders like Reloader 19 and similar.
