Sasquatch using a hollow reed to stay concealed under water.

I was stump shooting with my bow around a high mountain swamp. I shot at a mound of peat by the shoreline. Immediately it startled something nearby in the water. There was rapid underwater movement (as evidenced by rapid, erratic bumping of underwater sedges and such) along with a jet of water spraying up about 2-3 feet, maybe a pencil in size spraying straight upward, with a weird noise. The noise sounded like an antelope buck or maybe a high pitched kazoo. It lasted maybe 5 seconds. I have never seen or heard of such a thing before. Swamp has no fish. Cannot understand the noise and straight upward jet of water. Anyone has any ideas??

Who in their right mind shoots pieces of wood with their arrows? Either you have so much money that broken and lost arrows don’t matter (which is great) or you haven’t heard of a block target.
A block target is this cool foam target that you shoot your arrows into so you can easily pull them out and shoot them again and again and again without damaging your arrows and pocket book.

I loath to grace this comment with a response but suffice it to say planning for a gun hunt without doing some shooting is a bad idea. Bow hunting without practice is a bad idea and simply unethical. Every serious bow hunter knows it.
