Wanna Be trapper W Joined: May 2018 Posts: 10,842 SW Georgia	If this is social media then I’ll be guilty of posting if I kill one of the 3 potential shooters I have. I do like sharing on this site mainly because it covers such a diverse geographic area. I do like sharing and reading of the success of fellow hunters because they know what it takes to take a mature deer. A trophy to some may not be a trophy to me or vice versa, but I respect their kill and knowledge it took to make it happen.

Take the Shot that will kill The Deer! ...I shot a deer with a 2117 aluminum arrow , String tracker on it- it was the TEXAS heart shot. Buried the 31" arrow to the neck. Deer ran 12 yards ...heaviest blood trail ever 3' wide. My friends dad said It was unethical. Play the game ....kill the deer .tag it....you Win!!! The next year in OL magazine it was shown as The "ok" shot. Hahaha! Yes I pray! No I don't meditate. I shot 46 deer with 7 different bows before my stroke and now have an Excaliber xbow. But only 1 deer is allowed here now so I choose to save that to Rifle hunt with my Dad and kids. I use to shoot 24 arrows a day minimum all spring summer and fall! I love seeing some of the bucks people post on here and the story behind it. RMtrapper has quite the list! I remember a few years ago I think it was Shawneeman or something like that was talking about taking a kid hunting and that kid was chasing a certain buck. Also Shawnee was talking about hunting big bodied mature deer. I always was intrigued from big bodied bucks after that. Everyone has a different perspective on what a trophy deer is. Cold as ice!

pcr2 "Twerker" P Joined: May 2010 Posts: 28,978 potter co. p.a.	you animal. goal is a 20 in wide buck someday.the 19 3/4 11 point i shot last year was close but not quite. have one i'm watching carefully right now that i believe will easily break 140 but he has some houdini in him.
