lyman makes a .311 bullet mold for those old mosin's . i know because i got one in a trade. i tradeded that mold for a bunch of soft plumbers lead. anyway they are out there. also in that box of stuff was a box of 1000 gas checks to go with the bullet mold. the guy i traded the mold and gas checks too is real happy with the bullets. he is casting them with salvage wheel weight lead.

Not much difference from the Russian 147 gr light ball out to 200 yards. Groups are tighter with the 203s

At 400 yards i have to use the 500 meter elevatiion on the sight. I did kill a deer at 430 yards by setting the rear sighr on 500 meters and holding on the spine. Deer was drt. I did know the exact distance though.

Thanks. I went ahead and ordered the 203s. Theyre on back order but should be here the 1st week of Nov.
