Now everyone on here may know about the site North American Trappers Historical Society, but I did not.
I was doing a Google Search to see if Newt Sterling's new survival snaring book was for sale yet. I am looking forward to buying and reading Newt's new book. I have bought all of his other books and most of his DVDs. Learned something from all of them.

One of the things that popped up was an interview with Newt on the North American Trappers Historical Society. It was a very good read. Several interviews on there. Only other I have read was with Don Shumaker, one of my favorite trapping writers.

Well any how, I thought I would share this gem for others like myself that had not known about it.

Don and Beth Shumaker run the site. Lots of cools stuff.
Thanks to the Shumaker family.

i realize that there are few experts on here ( I have notice a few sexual intellectuals lately) that probably could not find interest in such a site as they seem to know everything. But it is a great site for the rest of us interested in trapping.

Mac

Don and his wife have done a good job on the site. I've submitted a couple of things for them. I hope it continues to grow.

Here's a link to an interview from the site that Paul did about his father. Good read.
