Turns out the majority of them have been set by Antifa, and some arrests are being made but it's sure hard to catch them. They set the fires then go in looting when people have to evacuate.

You probably won't see this on the news, but my sister is right in the middle of it, having been evacuated in Oregon, but she is keeping an eye on their place, they have a hobby farm with a lot of animals. Smoke is really bad.

That might be the case in Oregon, but northern California had a couple weeks of very abnormal thunderstorm activity in July and August that started alot of these fires. Maybe Oregon has another problem with arson but we've seen this trend in California for a long time. Higher temps, higher fuel loads after a wet warm spring and BINGO you have fires.

There have been a couple of fires where arsonists were arrested but I never heard of any associations they might have. Just freaking arsonists.

It is perhaps the worst fire season in Oregon's history. 500 square miles already burned and the 100,000 acre fire in forestland 25 miles east of me is 0% contained. Hot dry air and wind has been brutal. Our air quality is rated as extremely unhealthy right now and residents are encouraged to stay indoors.

Already there are at least three deaths and several smaller towns have burned to the ground.

Do they not do prescribed burns on forest lands out there?
About every March, South Georgia looks and smells like it’s on fire, and it is. But these are controlled burns.

Thugs are burning Molina and Beaverton down. They continue to start more fires even though a few have been arrested. My sister cannot get to her place to check on the animals. Her husband and son were hunting elk but are coming back now in hopes of getting some of the animals to safety.

I was very skeptical at first because of our weather conditions -- but after talking to many credible people in positions to know -- there is some of that going on around here. I am still not willing to say a majority of the fires were started this way because antifa and blm just do not have the drive to go where some of these fires started. However the Oregonian is not a reliable source, nor is any other local media. If you have questions talk to the boots on the ground. I trained as a firefighter and the conditions we have seen in the last week are the worst (as far as fire is concerned) that i have seen in my 50+ years here. That being said -- there is a fire extinguisher and a .45 in my truck if someone is driving down the road and throws a cigarette butt out the window I'm not sure which tool i will use first.

What needs looked into here in Oregon that sounds like criminal negligence is that according to news articles they only have 3,000 fire fighters on the fire lines. Thousands of houses have burned up state wide 1,000 in Talent and 600 in Phoenix alone. The state is negligently letting it burn by not hiring more people and equipment. Yes it is hot, windy and dry and vast tracts of mostly government land have been neglected for decades to appease the wacko commie environmentalists. Poor land management, the worst state leadership anyone could have. Climate change you bet these morons are creating it.

9/9/20 - Dexter, OR - a man was witnessed starting a fire at campground in Dexter along hwy 58, extinguished.
9/8/20 - Eugene, OR - Elias Newton arrested for starting a fire that burned nearly 400 acres in Sweet Creek near Mapleton.
9/9/20 - Junction City, OR - man arrested for lighting illegal fireworks next to business with wood and dry grass. Police found additional mortars at his home.
9/9/20 - Albany, OR - man was witnessed starting 4 fires along I5, driving a black Mini Cooper, not yet arrested, fires extinguished.
9/8/20 - Eagle Point, OR - man was witnessed starting a fire by vandalizing an electrical box. He ran away and passerby's extinguished the fire. Suspected to have started the Obenchain fire which is now 8,000 acres and growing.

Police have found the man who has been setting fires on i-5 a 27 year old Samuel Hyde along with a 19 year old David hogg (still at large) police reports say they were using road flares, fireworks, and barbie glitter bombs

Just read a news article that stated the state is preparing for a mass causality event as dozens of people are missing from the Almed fire south of Medford and dozens missing from another fire up north. My rumor mill,my cousins friend has friends that had a shoot out with some artifa/blm types that they caught setting fires in the Estacada area. They held them till the cops showed up. I know of guys evacuating there families and livestock and staying back waiting for looters. The cops are catching more looters and arsonists than they are letting on. I did read about one hi speed chase twenty miles east of Salem. The cops had to chase them quite a few miles put down a tack strip,ended up on a golf course two guys took off a foot. The cops turned the dogs loose and they were apprehended
