I know that everyone on this site are good people and I ask you folks to pray for my 13 year old daughter. You my baby girl was raped by a 30 yr old POS monster on Aug the 6th. She remained silent about this terrible event until Aug 31 fearing that I would spend the rest of my life in prison. Christopher Dale Tate took something from her in the woods that night that she will never get back but he will pay the price for what he has done. As a father I cannot begin to tell you the anger and things that I wish I would have done differently on the night she broke her silence. I had my chance to put him in the ground. But God kept me from pulling that trigger that night. A bullet was to easy for him. He needs to suffer. He is currently locked up in Randolph co. jail for 2nd degree forcible rape, statutory rape, and indecent liberties with a child. $500,000 secured bond. Her voice wasn't heard that night in them dark woods but God it was been heard now. Plz pray that my daughter can move past this traumatic event that has taken place. No kid deserves this and she is a very strong little girl and is doing very well as of now. This past saturday was opening day of archery season here in NC. She smoked a nice full vevlet 8 pt at 45 yards that afternoon. As soon as she shot she looked at me and said take that Chris Tate. Guys and girls I lost in there in that stand. I have always been very proud of my little girl. However seeing that glowing smile come back on her face has stuck in my mind ever since. She doesn't want to go to therapy all she wants is to be a kid again and spend as much time in the woods trapping and hunting with her father. The woods have always been both of our way to put the world and bad things behind us. She has a long hard road ahead of her. She trusts in the Lord and he will take care of this monster for her one way or the other. Thanks for taking the time to read this and please keep Jerzie in your prayers! AMen

Find her someone professional to talk too. Your family doctor can refer you to someone good. She may seem fine now. I have a friend...I'll just say that there will be times when she will not be okay. A good counselor will know how to help her get better.

And, I am not finding fault, only looking out for your daughter: Consider removing her photo from the post. Post a new thread about her deer. She doesn't want her friends to find out her secret on the internet. She has nothing to be ashamed of but she won't see it that way.

Totally agree with you. She has agreed to give counseling a shot. Just have to pray that it helps her. As far as people finding out...as soon as it hit the local news of his arrest all of our phones started blowing up. I don't blame her Mother but I have told her for years that he was not to be left alone with or take my child anywhere. Her answer was always he wouldn't do anything to hurt her....I always said it only takes 1 time to ruin my kid for life and here we are. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers.

Prayers for your daughter and whole family. It's absolutely horrible that someone would do that to a kid.

Prayers for your family. It sounds like your daughter has inherited your will power. She will get through it. Just let her know she's doesn't have to deal with the emotions by herself. It may be easier for her to talk to a counselor than a family member or someone she's close with.

As for the scumbag no good mother ****er, he will be reminded of his bad deeds daily once he makes it to prison. Rest assured. Best thing that can happen is he gets shanked on the last day of his 50 year sentence.
