Mark June you know full well it is opinion also to say humans were created specifically to have dominion over the earths creatures

No matter what you believe , there is no doubt that in the natural world there are predators and prey. We humans have had a role as predator so long as there have been humans. That is a well documented fact.

Mark / crit that's just my opinion not expecting anyone else to jump on the band wagon. I feel no difference which makes me personally feel more connected and conscious of how I hunt, trap, fish. Everything lives and dies I try to be a responsible participant in both.

That is a well documented fact. I don't think there is any argument against that statement. The problem would come in when like with reincarnated and you are killing somebody's dearly departed grandma that came back as bambi.

It's all about the soul, or the lack of. If I though animals had souls, I wouldn't be killing them.

Im not going to get in the debate wheather instinct was given by god (the compulsions we deem as good ) the devil (the compulsions we deem as bad ) or evolved they are instinct . no matter how every living thing got them . The point that i would like to express is that every bad charicteristic that is labeled as a fault of man is also present in the animal kingdom in one form or another . There are alot of folks that think animals are more noble than man but in truth they have every weakness or vice that we do

Mark June you know full well it is opinion also to say humans were created specifically to have dominion over the earths creatures I would rephrase to insert the word faith rather than opinion, based on the definitions of English words, but you'd probably argue that point, and I'd be fine with that. The humanist considers their opinion on creation as their faith (see OP). Blessings danny as always, Mark

There are alot of folks that think animals are more noble than man but in truth they have every weakness or vice that we do Nada. We have a frontal cortex and that's where meta-analysis (as seen often on this forum) originates. Or so say most brainiacs in the biz. Other animals can't think their way through life like we can, although there may be a on-off switch on some operators of this heavy machinery.
