My poochy is back home! We had a terrible.accident last week due to my.own negligence that I won't go into, it.got.deleted right away when I posted about it presumably because.it was too gruesome. My dog got severely injured, and we didn't think he would make it. But he did, and he's back home! The vet said they couldn't keep him there anymore because he was getting vicious when it came time for meds. He was sweet most all the time, but when they come near him with those pills he tried to bite them, and they couldn't even get in there to sedate him. He's home now, and he takes his meds just fine; we use our secret trip of smashing a skittle and wrapping the pills with skittle, he wolfs it right down. He'll take several weeks to heal, but he's gonna be okay as long as there are no complications in the healing process.

Glad he’s home! Don’t beat yourself up to bad over it. I was involved in a gun accident as a young man. Terrible and life changing experience.

I read you original post before it was taken down. Your neglect with firearms and the fact that you posted it on a open forum has me shaking my head

I won't argue with that at all. Im still shaking my head. It only takes second for things to go absolutely terribly wrong, and I take full responsibility for what happened. From now on I. This house guns don't get loaded at all, guns only get loaded at the range when ready to shoot, and dogs aren't allowed around loose guns at all.
