Just curious (I am NOT bashing in ANY way). Is this jig simply to hold all of the parts so one can weld them? If so, I like it!

Excellent, i like it. I use a metal grate but that will be much better. Do you spray it with no splatter spray or not?

Yep just a third hand to hold everything in place to be welded. Don’t spray and it shows. I probably should but every so often I’ll shine it up with a flap disk.
I'm itchin' to see a coyote twitchin'.
More trappin' and less yappin'.

ADC, mom told me to work smarter not harder. Only took me 50 years and a wrecked shoulder to take that advise. Lol
