I have a old Polaris 6x6. It really pushes snow good with tires. But I have tracks to put on over the tires. Has anyone here run both and what did you think had the best traction. My tires are real good.

Apparently tracks are better or they wouldn't be using them. I see them on tractors and even combines too.
Them hogs are about ready to butcher!!!

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

If you're talking in snow, there's not even a comparison. Tracks are made specifically for snow. Tires aren't.

Depending upon how you plan on using it. On the roads I would stay with tires. Off road you can't beat tracks but it may reduce your speed by 50%. The right tool for th right job.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

I only use it for pushing snow 90% of the time. The driveways get fairly slippery from packed snow.

I like big hogs when butchering, fat equals flavor. And yes they have been butchered.

If your 6X6 is chain drive the tracks will stretch your chain and not fun adjusting them. Other than that they work good!

I have tracks for my 570 Polaris and I sure am glad I invested money into them in stead of a snowmobile. I can go pretty much any where in the snow with the tracks.

The only problem has been the shifter when it is real cold. I have had to take it a part twice and clean it out. They start better than a new one. I put choke on and it button and its running. The 6x6 is a 1993 md and I have a 4x4 1994 350 and starts just as good. There oil injected.
