I commend you guys that take on counseling. I have one question. After the left defunds the police, are you going to have the time to go through the "should, oughts, and musts", when you respond to a domestic disturbance if the guy flies out of the house and comes at you welding a butcher knife?

Lock him up. We work close with law enforcement at my place.

Right, he should of been locked up before he came after you with the knife. But it doesn't seem to work that way.

The police have a way harder job then me! Treatment, in my view teaches men how to be good men. Law enforcement teaches men that have done wrong that they may want to give the good man thing a try.

I worked as a school counselor for a number of years and many times we used services from outside mental health counselors and social workers. There isn’t a mental health counselor or social worker in their right mind that would intervene in a dangerous domestic disturbance without police protection. The lefty politicians that want to place these workers in jeopardy haven’t a clue to how this all works. In fact, the counselors would tell those politicians to go to you know where if they tried to force the counselors into these situations alone.

That is exactly my point.
