Been a break for a few days with fires, smoke, holiday and just life kicking in. Last picture is similar to what the finished product will look like

Taking shape quickly now. In paint last week. Should be ready for Christmas crab. No trapping this season so it will have its inaugural run next year.

We used to have a dedicated rig like Kenai. The state shut that down years ago, so we improvised, adapted and overcame their attempts to stop us, do gooder granola grinders at their finest. Mike. Yea is a friction reducer. It’s called wet lander. There’s a few names for it. It’s used a lot on drifters here. I guess it’s used on air boats down in the swamps in gator country. Owl
