After 7 years I got a low battery warning and am having the unit replaced on Tuesday. Wire leads are fine so just the unit is being switched out. Anybody else have this done? My main concern is the recovery time to use your arm and to lift things with Fall activities coming up. My doctor is Indian and doesn't quite understand shotguns or carrying beaver out of hellholes. LOL

dad did and wore out a second one but refused a third cause it would've had to go on the other side eliminating huntin pretty much.

I'm on my 4th replacement....got two sets of wires in me, It's day surgery now, used to be a big deal...It's lots easier then hemorrhoid surgery!, lol

I never spent a moment thinking about it, do what I want . Don't bother asking the doctor for advice, they're programmed to be Debbie downers....you should be fine in a week, I had them put the device in on my off gun side the first time, then they had to re do it and stuck it on my gun side, it was fine there too.

I'm getting close to my 3 one this one is a 10 year battery and I'm at 13 years. I think i got 3 extra years when I raised up from setting a snare and hit a electric fence across the back of my neck. If it's just a unit replace it's not to to bad about 2 weeks and you should be back to normal.

No matter where you go there you are.

Just got back home from a successful surgery. Thanks for the well wishes. Restrictions aren't too bad. Worst part is wearing a compression harness invented by the Marquis de Sade for 3 days.
