Arkansas87 OP trapper A Joined: Jan 2018 Posts: 548 Bismarck Arkansas	Thinking about setting up some coyote traps on drags this year. Was wandering what kinda chain you guys that use drags run. F&t has #2 select quality straight link on sale right now. Would that be sufficient or should I get #3 straight link? Thanks guys.

The hammer trapper Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 3,843 Pennsylvania	Number 2 select quality straight link will be fine. I have few drags set up with 12 feet #2. Mainly use #3 or #5 for weight. But never had #2 quality straight link fail holding some big coyotes.

The hammer trapper Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 3,843 Pennsylvania	Sabor tooth, jc conner, or home made drags that are made the same as a Sabor tooth but larger. This was on a home made drag. Like I said made the same as a Sabor tooth just a little bigger. I'm standing by the drag didn't take it more then 5 feet from the set.

Trapping old logging rds and along woods allows pre-hooking.
