Anyone try the muck, boggs, etc. knock offs?
They look the same, a lot of the specs are the same, and probably made in the same factories, but at half the price... ???

A year ago I bought my son a pair of Tidewe boots. He's wore the heck out of them and so far they've held up perfectly. I was impressed enough I bought myself a pair this fall. Haven't had them long, but based on fit and appearance, they're made as good as all the Mucks I've had.

I've had Bogs, didn't really care for them, though maybe it was the model I had. They were made fine I guess, but very little arch support.

good on you for not wanting to support the anti-gun, anti-hunting Muck-heads.

i'll be following this to hear whose bought what boots.

Bought steel toe mucks for work years ago, tore em up pretty quickly. I’ve gone with off brands since and they just as good.

the ones i have tried have worked the same as muck boots. But i don't like the muck boots that well, to many briars here and the tops get shredded in short order.

Muck boot company is not anti-hunting. That story has been debunked multiple times. Not supporting their company one way or another, just clarification.

I've worn a pair of Dry Shod for a couple of years and they have held up great.

I bought a pair of Mucks back when they only made one width. Lady said I could send them back if not wide enough. Way too narrow for me. Walked into ACE Hardware and saw a brand called Statesman. My foot slid right in. Perfect. Warm and dry.

Ive been thinking about trying a pair of these too. I beleive the original founder of Muck boots started this company after he sold Muck

I read a thread similar to this a couple years ago. I went with the Quattro Skellerup. They aren't cheap but if you're going insulated they kept my feet warm and they held up well. I think they wear them a lot on the fishing vessels.

Thanks guys, about what I expected, a chinese boot is pretty much the same as any other chinese boot, lol. been reading the reviews on some of these options, a lot of them are sold out from various vendors, so the next question...How is the sizing work for you?
I usually get an 11, the Dry Shods I tried were snug, my old Mucks were good, I have a pair of winter Kamiks that could be a little bigger, plus they all seem to be built on a medium width, I really need a wide, so some recommend going up a size....without trying them on it's a crap shoot, not like the old days when a 10, was a 10...
Any advice on sizing?
