Won't happen. Just a feel good measure.
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

I think the car companies should do like allot of gun manufacturers and stop shipping to and selling in californistan now. Let’s see how that works out for them. I know someone will think why punish the residents but they keep electing these idiots. I say shame on em.

Never.gonna happen in 15 years, the technology just isn't there. The biggest problem I see is the electrical grid, its nowhere near where it needs to be. Electrical vehicle battery range and charge times are pretty pathetic right now too, but that technology is advancing pretty fast, but even still I don't see it happening in just 15 years. In 50 years? Absolutely, I can see there being no more gas powered cars being sold, 50 years is a long time when speaking about technology advances. We haven't come all that far in vehicle technology in the last 15 years, but vehicles from 50 years ago are practically horse and buggies compared to what we have today. Back then we were still using points distributors, carbs that could be adjusted by hand, adjustable valve trains that had to be maintained, no overdrive transmissions, etc etc. Now we have ignition systems with no moving parts, computers that control fuel and spark so that nothing ever needs to be adjusted and rarely wears out, engines that'll last practically forever if maintained, and ten speed transmissions. Cars today have no class or style compared to those of 50 years ago, but today's cars will out accelerate, out stop, out corner and outlast any vehicle from 50 years ago, and they'll do it safer, quieter, more efficiently, and for longer. In 50 years, who knows? Maybe cars will be running on hydrogen or nuclear power, and the electrical grid won't even be an issue. Thw technology will advance, it just needs time.
