Been a busy summer, just got a couple of trail camera's out last week.I have not seen a shooter all summer in the beans, checked 2 of the camera's today and this real tall 9 pointer showed up last night.Dont know if he'll hang around or not,but now i have a target buck to hunt for.I really enjoy targeting and hunting for 1 or 2 bucks each year, about every 3rd or 4th year i'm successful. Here's a few pic's.Rough scored guessing him at 135"-138". Matt28- I think you might have one of those mulley hybrids and those things are scarcer then hens teeth! Eat that son of a gun and tell me how he tastes!

Left Lane, I shot a muley / whitetail hybrid year's ago and yes it was some darn fine eating a big bodied deer to and even the horns were a different color I should've had the hide tanned with the hair on .

Allan I have heard that several times and I am interested. I can't help but wonder if it isn't yet another example of hybrid vigor.

If you and I have to feed out a 8 or 10 pot loads (grin) would we choose blacks, red white faced, or black baldies? Obviously money is not an issue to guys like us but I suspect your answer and mine would be the same.

I really wanna know- is the cross bred dear better at the table? I would love to have more data myself.

This is the ghost I'm chasing this year. The one and only picture I have of him is from a few weeks ago. [Linked Image]
