Oh now that i think of it, i skinned a couple of muskrats once One my boss got at work running around in the plant That was before work in the morning behind my place when I lived in the foremans section house. Had a skunk living under the toolhouse,so took him out and made use of him. Here is another one-nuisance beaver skinned after work at the toolhouse. Was staying at the bunkhouse in those years in remote locations and trapped after work. Had been a while since I got to town for a haircut, lol.

BraskaYoter, thanks for starting this thread. Just the ticket to ring in some cooler weather and gets folks thinking about fun times ahead. Jim Thanks Jim, I really enjoy seeing what others are trapping. I grew up in NE Nebraska and did some water trapping in my youth but dont have that possibility where I live now. So seeing all these guys and gals in waders makes me smile. Plus the fox, cats, black yotes, are all awesome as well. Something has to tide me over till I can set my traps and this is just the ticket. Keep em coming please.

Today's catch. Same trap at same location about three hours apart. Lucky to find this one. Wacked just good enough to not make it too far! This is it for now. Season opens on November first. Here are my favorites from last season: My first wolf! And the end of the line with my wife. She is awesome!

First one this year. Only allowed 1 cat in our 10 day season. Always cool to see in a trap and fun to release. After I got the trap off his toes he just lay there a few minutes. I took my release tote and other equipment back to the Jeep an he was still there. I drove to the turn around and back he was still resting. He left when I pulled up a few fett away and ho med my horn. By the way, same set and same Duke 550 pro series as the fox from first check Friday.

Red Mt that is one cool coyote catch pic. That's one I would blow up a little frame it and have on wall in the fur shed. One heck of a conversation starter. Jim

She does for sure. Although here mom wouldn't trap and skin and do the things she does. She loves trapping with me and I love having her. She is up to 14 muskrat that she can't wait to take to the buyer. She is a trooper.
