Never ate it.It was only invented about 30 years ago.My kids loved it growing up and still eat it.
We had fries and gravy growing up,dont know why someone put cheeze curds on it.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Nope,only came about in the 90's,might have been getting popular around 10 years earlier in quebeck.It was invented by a trucker around 1960.
I can guarantee you no one here heard of it when I was growing up.Like I said we had chips and gravy.

Best cheese curd in Canada made right here in St. Albert Ontario (established 120 years ago it is the oldest French Canadian Co-operative in Ontario).
Agree! Don't get over to the east often but you just don't pass through the Cornwall area without finding an outlet!

First it was only invented 30 years ago, then maybe 10 years earlier, then around 1960. Boco does your last name happen to be Biden. Whenever it was invented, it is delicious. If you have ever had it in the states don't judge it based on that. It is so much better up in Ontario. They know how to do poutine.

It was invented in rural Quebec in the 50's.
I remember eating it on fishing trips to Canada in the 70's. My Grandma would always put gravy on fries. One week the cottage owner was over for dinner and told my G'ma to put cheese curds on it. She fell in love with it and it became a staple at all the family get togethers.
I never had it with the pork or bacon added to it until very recently.

Aint curds just a fancy name for cottage cheese? Oh Geez! I challenge anyone to describe high quality fresh factory curd and truly do it justice. I like em fresh, warm, and squeaky!
