I remember on an old post a while back someone had mentioned taking some duck eggs, cracking them and filling up a jar and letting it sit for a while. It wasn't very detailed but has anyone done this? Can it be done to chicken eggs? If I remember correctly you didn't have to add a preservative because it preserved itself?

I also found "boiled eggs for coyotes" interesting when I searched. I am aging some chicken eggs in the shell and have put out boiled eggs in test spots. Will post results later.

I do this every year and call it my bacon and egg bait. I take a few dozen eggs and put them in a large container and whip them up. Then stir them daily for about a week then I stir them every time I remember to. Finished product is a yellow custard paste. Then I add the same amount of bacon grease. If I am short on bacon grease I add lard. Then a couple of drops of skunk essence. I have done well on it over the years. I am a hobby trapper so take my formula for what it is worth. I have also added beaver caster to it and set dog proofs in barns that did well also.

I've never met a skunk I didn't like
