Have a 2019 Ram 2500 Crew Cab 4wd that needs tires. What are some suggestions for a good All terrain 10 ply equivalent tire.

I had Cooper AT3's worst pieces of crap tires I ever bought. Flat after flat, got rid of them in 11 months.

Adc what are you running now?
Ive got at3s on my truck now and was hoping to squeeze one more winter out of them but not sure i will get through it the way they look now.
They can really pick up a crazy amount of rocks.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Have them siped ...makes so much difference with traction and wear. Along with regular rotation.

Just over 2 years on these, no flats but they need rotated every 5-6k. About 1/4 tread left, probably get replaced before the snow flies. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Thunderer-Trac-Grip-M-T-R408-285-75R16-126-Q-Tire/215625981 ... cheap enough though! (largest size that will fit on my stock F150 crew cab 4x4)

Goodyear Duratrac expensive end, run them on all my personal pickups.

Kenda Klever AT for cheaper end good tire with good traction and minimal highway noise, run them on all our ranch pickups.

I bought a set of 4 of the Cooper at3 tires and I totally agree they are junk, if I can find them I hope to replace them with Toyo open country AT's on it and M-55' s on the Toyota after they are siped they last have great traction and i don't have to turn in the hubs to get out of the driveway !

I was talking with a guy that owns a car dealership here regarding tires. I need 10 ply as anything else I spend a lot of time under a jack. He informed me him and his father had been running Ironman A/T for the last two years with no issues. I got a full set for $500 ($125 a piece) and I traded him my 6 ply tires I had on the truck for an extra Ironman spare. We'll see if they hold up. For that kind of money it's hard to go wrong.

Firestone Transforce AT...been running them on my GMC 2500 for the last 20 years....it’s the only tire I buy. They are round ...and wear like Iron...I get 45,000 + out of a set...about 225.00 per tire

I tried Pro comp ATs, they were about $125 a tire. They did great offroad and have a good warranty, but I sold the truck before I put very many miles on them.

Make sure you check various retailers for discontinued or older tires. I just put a pair of Goodyear (the guys at the dealership I work for refer to them as 'good for a year' tires) on my 09 GMC Canyon and saved around $60 each because they were a few years old.

Ironman A/T. Used to get them for my 2004 Canyon. Then Obummer stopped the import. Trump opened it back up.

They have good sidewalls. Wear is normal.

Another vote for the BFG all Terrains.

I wouldn't put goodyears on if they were free.

I think the thunderer are a decent tire. We've sold a few and haven't had any problems

I also like the Dynapro ATM by Hankook, but they are replacing the ATM with the AT2 which doesn't have as good of reviews as its predecessor.

Good tires but I think they need more factory siping (sp) .

Traction was not the best on packed snow and ice

Maybe the 1/2 ton was too light for the 10 plys but I don't like flats

Going with Falken wildpeaks at3w on my Tacoma this week. Don’t need the weight of the 10 ply so I’m going sl rating. Quoted $164 mounted and balanced

I have had set of Falken wildpeak At on my truck for just under a year. Very good traction in the snow, ice, and mud. Reasonably priced and pretty good looking. I had a set of cooper at3 previously but wasn't all too impressed with their performance.

The only negative I have had with the Falkens is that they throw gravel pretty good.

I have a set of ko2 BFG's on the half ton now , still in 10 ply with much better traction on ice than the nittos but man these things hold gravel like no other

I hesitate to tell many people about them cause i dont want falken

Better wear with these than BFG's or Coops on same truck.

I had 2 get a set NOW this past spring.
The only place nearby that had my size were falken brand.
I think I'm gonna need another set by winter.
