Make sure you check various retailers for discontinued or older tires. I just put a pair of Goodyear (the guys at the dealership I work for refer to them as 'good for a year' tires) on my 09 GMC Canyon and saved around $60 each because they were a few years old.

Ironman A/T. Used to get them for my 2004 Canyon. Then Obummer stopped the import. Trump opened it back up.

They have good sidewalls. Wear is normal.

Another vote for the BFG all Terrains.

I wouldn't put goodyears on if they were free.

They can really pick up a crazy amount of rocks.

Just over 2 years on these, no flats but they need rotated every 5-6k. About 1/4 tread left, probably get replaced before the snow flies. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Thunderer-Trac-Grip-M-T-R408-285-75R16-126-Q-Tire/215625981 ... cheap enough though! (largest size that will fit on my stock F150 crew cab 4x4)

I think the thunderer are a decent tire. We've sold a few and haven't had any problems

I also like the Dynapro ATM by Hankook, but they are replacing the ATM with the AT2 which doesn't have as good of reviews as its predecessor.

Good tires but I think they need more factory siping (sp) .

Traction was not the best on packed snow and ice

Maybe the 1/2 ton was too light for the 10 plys but I don't like flats

Going with Falken wildpeaks at3w on my Tacoma this week. Don’t need the weight of the 10 ply so I’m going sl rating. Quoted $164 mounted and balanced

KO2’s best all around tire. Run them on my personal truck and an F250 and F350 work trucks and haul 19,000 pound and down boats with zero problems

I have had set of Falken wildpeak At on my truck for just under a year. Very good traction in the snow, ice, and mud. Reasonably priced and pretty good looking. I had a set of cooper at3 previously but wasn't all too impressed with their performance.

The only negative I have had with the Falkens is that they throw gravel pretty good.

I have a set of ko2 BFG's on the half ton now , still in 10 ply with much better traction on ice than the nittos but man these things hold gravel like no other

X eleventy. Wear like iron. Grab good in all winter conditions.
I hesitate to tell many people about them cause i dont want falken
to raise the prices. grin
Better wear with these than BFG's or Coops on same truck.
