Four years ago, I picked up my first rifle suppressor, a .22 cal. can intended only to be used on a .22-250 and a .223/5.56. Others had recommended to me to start out with a .30 cal. can, but in my mind, a dedicated can specifically designed for .22 caliber would work better than a .30 cal. can. I don't regret getting that suppressor, but do now wish that I had gone with a .30 cal. can first - hindsight 20/20 you know. Anyway, I'm starting to think about getting a .30 caliber can, but would like to keep this one pretty budget friendly. The TBAC .22 can set me back around $1,400 if I remember correctly including the stamp. I'd like to cut that cost at least in half if possible for a .30 cal can. What do you all shoot and consider a good value for a .30 cal. suppressor? I'm leaning more towards anything that's direct thread, not quick attach/detach.

Banish 30.

Iíve got a TBAC 30P-1 and a Banish 22.

Iíll put the banish up against the TBAC any day, plus you can break it down for cleaning.

I have a Silecerco Hybrid 46 i use on 223 and 308. I put a 30 cal. end cap on and a ASR QD mount on the back with compatible brakes on my rifles. It comes with a 46 cal. end cap and direct thread 5/8 24 rear cap. Not as good as a dedicated can, but no regrets.

I used Yankee Hill Machine Titanium Q.D. Phantoms in .30 cal on everything from .300 Win Mag to .223 and I am glad I went with the .30 cal.

I'm a FFL/SOT in Bismarck. PM me, I think I have some Rebel .30 cans in my safe I could cut a deal on.

I like light so prefer them mad our of titanium. I have been surprised at metering event I host at my farm that my sas arbiter actually was a few decibels more reduction on my 243 than on my 7mm08. I have no idea why and would have lost that bet.
My arbiter achieves sound reduction in the high 30 to low 40db range depending on platform and ammo. And have been happy with it.

Check out all the info on NFA talk.
