Yes Maam, I'm back. Got done with the soybeans this evening. Corn will be a few days out. Still lookin pretty green. Frost predicted tonight, but it IS Nebraska after all, probably be 90 again in a couple days.  Thank you for the birthday wishes and cake, 'Lil Sis' . Tried calling my older sister, as it is her birthday as well. I was her 'fifth birthday' present  Charlie

Charlie, we all keep track of days and seasons for different reasons, and cake is to be enjoyed anytime ....I just thought those candles lit up to bring the campfire alive was the best idea since.....chocolate cake ! You're thoughtful of folks on here so you deserve it. Imagine the days of using those super mule teams to work those vast fields in harvest....how much time it took to harness them up.....then unharness at days end, check everyone, feed everyone ....then finally clean up and have supper yourself ! I like the fuel turn key versions myself .... May all your days be happy , Charlie .
