I got my left hip replaced about 1.5 years ago. One of the best things I've done. If you go that route you won't regret it.

So, I hd my hips x rayed back in January because I was having pain in my left hip and groin area. It got bad enough that I went to the doctor yesterday and he advised a cortisone injection to see if I could prolong having hip replacement surgery. Got the injection this morning. Any fellow trappers dealt with this? I’m too young to feel this old! I have the exact thing going on right now, 3 weeks or so, now it's making my whole left leg numb at times, any leg numbness cat daddy?

My hips were hurting starting in my mid-late 50's. Strength/cardio exercise fixed that but it took a few years.

My sciatic situation had me laid up for a bit and I noticed other pains that popped up. They have been curbed now that I am back doing regular workouts.

Had a bilateral hips replaced a few years ago, I waited a long time, too long, Doc said mine were in the top ten of the worst hips he's ever seen....and he does thousands, lol Bad hips also cause pain in the knees cause your so off. They do hips first, then knees if necessary, mine's necessary, but I keep putting it off, maybe this winter...and yes, do the therapy, in fact, do as much of the therapy exercises as you can BEFORE the surgery... I was back on the boat pulling pots in 6 weeks, my wife made me wait till the 6 weeks checkup....

I was compensating for my back/Leg pain from truck wreck in 2013 so it eventually trashed my hip Doc says lose 100 pounds before they can operate. With near inability to walk, exercise is difficult. It's going to be a long wait. w
