I'm still hoping you'll be feeding two less horses a day here within the next year, I really want a pair of Mustangs.

How did you load that bale in the bed of a pickup without dinging up the truck?

We still bale rounds here, but its getting really hard to find one not square baled if you have to buy hay. Looks like nice alfalfa though, whats hay worth in your neck of the woods Ness? Its going for about 120-150 a ton here for alfalfa.

Starting to get common here when a large farmer has an outfit do the harvesting.

Round bales are the most common yet, but when they have to haul it, what your showing g is preferable.

The guy had a machine with 3 spears .....stuck it in the bale and lowered it into the truck....real slick set up.

I don't think you could find a round bale within 500 miles of me.

Here the round bales are layed end to end at the edge of the field or along the barn and wrapped with plastic until needed.

Real common.

We’re getting some Colorado Second cut next week from the same guy ...but a 3x3 bale. Hay up this way is getting scarce and 10.00 per 35 pound bale. All because of the drought.
