A movement I can get behind.....
In these tense times, here's something we can all agree on.
The vaccine should be tested on politicians first.
If they survive, the vaccine is safe.
If they don't, the country is safe.
Free people are not equal. Equal people are not free. What's supposed to be ain't always is. Hopper Hunter

I agree, or the scientists that create it. Wonder how many of them would be eager to get it

They have done the rat tests and are well past that stage, so politicians are not going to be a good test. Volunteer humans maybe

I don't know if there are any bookies taking bets on this, but I would be willing to bet that they never come up with an effective CV-19 vaccine. Therapeutics sound like the best thing going; I'm fine with that.

Well POTUS might get to try it if it comes out, but science has never come up with a vaccine for SARS or a Rhino virus which is the common cold and Covid. Not sure if science is going to come to the rescue on this one, some will live some will die as we have seen 210,000. Now maybe folks will take it serious with T rump and his staff getting it. They were most likely getting more folks around them tested and things getting sterilized than in a hospital. However you cant fix stupid, I guess it is all a personal choice or taking risk be it unprotected sex, smoking or wearing a mask, only not wearing a mask though not 100% sure fire can get a lot of innocent folks sick. Taking a risk? Did you do wear a mask all last Flu season? If not, why? You can just as easily get the Flu and pass it on.

Most vulnerable people here get the flu vaccine each year-no need for a mask for that then.

Wearing masks, according to the learned infectious disease physicians,is to prevent you from spreading the virus to other people, not the other way around. The goal is to prevent spreading it around until the pandemic stage has passed, and it becomes like other seasonal viruses,no longer novel so not as infectious at all.Viruses mutate at a very high rate and become much less infectious. There is the slight possibility that it could mutate into another novel more deadly strain, but this is not likely until many many years has passed. Just like the spanish flu,h1n1 and others are today, that once were deadly pandemic stage viruses, it will fade into oblivion.

An n95 mask filters out the virus from the air you’re inhaling. The face shield keeps the virus from getting into your other mucous membranes (eyes). That’s why if you go get a covid test they’re wearing n95 masks and a face shield. If YOU are at high risk then YOU should take extra precautions.

Wrong according to the infectious disease physicians. What credentials do you have making statements like that? You know something that the infectious disease scholars dont?

Just heard on a news report they are saying 6 ft. apart is to close. Well of course. Next they will tell us we can only safely go outside on the second Tuesday of the month during a full moon.
