I guess I'm getting older.
Every time I barely bump something my hands bleed. Thin skin I guess.
Anyway I think I'll have to wear gloves all the time while trapping. Anyone else have that problem?
Do you wear gloves all the time ?
What kind? Where do you get them? cost?
Guess I ain't tough anymore. lol

I wear cotton chore gloves a lot then swap them out for leather gloves if I have to deal with anything with scarcoptic mange.
A bottle of tough skin kept in a shirt pocket is handy too ha ha

for cheap , the yellow cotton chore gloves , buy them by the dozen

the problem is a lot of things are hard to do with gloves on if they don't fit well

a good pair of deer skin gloves that you sweat through a couple times they shrink right down to your hands and fit very nice , not cheap but not too bad probably not great for scent control

the Nitrile dipped gloves are becoming the thing https://www.amazon.com/Grease-Monke...ork+Gloves&qid=1601918663&sr=8-8
low cost , fit tight to the hand , and have the nitrile coating they are getting popular for mechanics

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I buy the cheap white gloves which when on sale are $7-$10 for a pack of 12. I use them for many things. When trapping and setting in the fall I pull and stretch them over my gauntlets and that saves poking holes in them as fast. During the winter ice trapping I put on a pair and then my gauntlets and stay a lot warmer. When coon and canine trapping I wear them also. When they get dirty I wash a group of them or if they get bad I just burn them.

I buy the cheap Nitrile gloves for about a buck a pair and the last me for several months trapping pocket gophers. The sand is hard on my hands but the gloves help a lot! The also work great for yard work and are light but tough for chores and such. Cheap enough to have some stashed all over the place in case you need them. I buy them by the dozens.

Thin leather gloves for me. Keeps you getting stuck with frayed snare cable as well. Get some that fit real snug. Later on if it gets cold put a pair of brown jerseys under them, surprisingly warm!

Go to Menards and hit the glove aisle. I like gloves that fit my hands really well. Usually a nitrile dipped is what I wear.
