Congratulations to both of you ! Darn nice rifle what caliber and how far was the shot ? That should be some fine eating there ! It is a 243, I custom painted it for my wife 9 years ago. She has shot several deer and an antelope with it. My daughter shot this one at 25 yards. For good luck we had some venison burgers for supper before we went out on the hunt tonight.

My daughter got her deer this evening. Came out at 25 yards, and didnt have a clue we were there. Ground blinds are an amazing tool for hunting with kids. She is 10 years old and this is her 3rd one. She told me she was even more excited about this one, than her first two. I think she has the bug! I will admit I think I get more excited hunting with her than if I shoot a big buck myself. It is interesting how things come full circle. I told her this year we are going to hunt public ground for a little extra challenge. I am certain she doesn't comprehend that aspect of hunting yet, but it sure made me feel good about it. Prn, These are times that you'll look back on in 20 years and get all misty eyed. Trust me. And your daughter will remember more than you. Trust me. Congratulations on leading and teaching your family in the ways of the great outdoors. Blessings, Mark
