Judging by the location pics and the various sizes of pods it would seem you have all sizes of beaver and not just dispersing 1+ year olds. It's just hard to understand why so many beavers would be travelling through that water course with their territorial nature. Another thought, you must be trapping as problem beaver being out of season for much of the take?

Yes damage control right now. This creek is about 1 mile long. It comes out of a side hill through some irrigated land and before it gets to the river there is a big nursery and tree Farm which the beavers are trying to destroy. It’s taking two years to clean the beavers out of this creek. They have been jamming up the irrigation lines and flooding a couple other roads across the creek. I’m trying to get them at the source now and keep them out of the creek. Where the three traps are set I’ve probably lowered the water 3 feet since this spring. There’s only a trickle going through the culvert now. The landowners have a holding pond up above where the creek comes out at the side hill for their irrigation. The flow is now continuous through the Creek and out to the river.

And probably a month to go.......so 127 is not the last.
So how bent up are those traps now ?

You will probably get a manufacture getting in touch with you to test their traps with catches like that.

Keep up the good work.

Their belise super x. Great trap but a few curves in them now. Probably replaced a dozen trigger wires but I usually have a couple spares with me to rotate out the bent traps and broken triggers. A few minutes of trap maintanence and their back in action.

Little downward pressure on an anvil/chunk of railway tie, curve gone.
