Dad had a gift certificate to Kendal so we bought a dozen of them from him at the Missouri convention. They look like a great trap but we don’t have any experience using them yet

I have both Extremes and JR"S. Extremes are great coyote traps. Jr"s are better on fox and cats.
I simply set lighter on pan if needed. Wax can be tricky.

I’ve got juniors, excellent traps.

Do you put wax on the spot where the night latch is

I run 2 coil Jrs. and have no pan tension issues. Have caught grays in them. I do wax the night latch with a stick of bowstring wax - lightly.

Did the same with the bowstring wax except use three coils on mine to give them 3 # or a little over pan tension for coyotes.

I wax the whole trap. I don’t apply any extra to the night latch. I filed the night latch at a slight angle to decrease pan tension on the ones that needed it
