The best cat food is the cat food covered with bacon grease .

What i did is buy a 52 pound bag of cheapo dog food and about 20ish pounds about cheapo cat food. i put it all in a tote and mixed it together with table scraps and bacon grease. Add the bacon grease in slowly while stirring it with a big stick so it absorbs in and doesnt bunch up. It works best when the grease is in liquid form. Then i just toss the top of the tote back on and itll be ready for the season when it comes i fill a 1 pound cashew plastic container with a wide lip and use a spoon to fill dps, but i saw usuing a milk jug ip above so i might try that!

the best bait for a dp I had was stale apple delights from little Debbie. my mom loved em they quit making them for like 10 years. they brought thumbtack 2 years ago and my mom bought all the store had. after a while she was burnt out on them and there was like 8 boxes left. best bait ever break in to pieces put a big piece under the trigger and tuna on top. but I ran out half way through season.

Cat food catches cats. I nevah bait with what a cat likes to eat.

X2 I trap farms and the cats have a job to do. Most farmers around here don't appreciate anybody interfering with the chores.

My cat like Meow Mix an Kit and Kaboodle, so since I have that readily available I'm going with that.
