No way they can get any law passed to remove Trump. Even if it passed the House and Senate, Trump would still have to sign it. Do you really think he's going to do that ?

This is obviously aimed at Biden.

Also if you carefully read section 4 of 25A it is clear that even if Congress should appoint................"or other such body"....it would STILL require the agreement of the Vice President. Notice the actual wording..."unless the Vice President and a majority...."

X2. What president, be they democrat or republican, would sign such legislation limiting the power of the executive branch.

True. Also Congress certainly can pass a statute to facilitate execution of the 25 A but they can't pass a statute that essentially alters 25A. That would require a new amendment or repeal of the existing.

Pelosi is not planning on using the 25th on Trump, she's planning on using it on Biden. She's just sowing the seeds of thought right now.

Historically getting mental or health information that is accurate or correct is not easy. Having a way to get that information and being able to make solid decisions could be difficult at best.
Examples of cases like Woodrow Wilson and his severe stroke and FDR with critical congestive heart failure before the 1944 election and others indicate that being forthright with presidential health issues is not common practice.

I think she is planning to use it on Trump in the next 4 years. The only question is will the dems use it first or try another round of Stormy/Russians/Impeachment.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it matters how unfit for the presidency or how radical a candidate is. People have their minds made up. I’ve seen a lot of people I’d considered left make a pretty big swing the other way. I’ve also seen so many people set on party voting that they’re going to ride that Trojan horse into the Whitehouse no matter what.

this polarization is getting insane. d and r used to not be so far apart.

how did we get from pretty much everyone being libertarian in the 19th century to more more more government intrusion being so popular in the 21st???????????????

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

If Biden wins, I think there will be enormous pressure from both wings of the Democrat party to influence/remove him. There are surely some sane/moderate Democrats left who understand that the platform created to placate the idiots on the left will do extreme harm to our country and economy. I think the next civil war we see will be intraparty and amongst the Democrats.

I don't think Biden will get ridden out of Dodge by Dems if he wins, especially if the GOP holds the senate. Legislation by nature with that alignment will be more centrist or moderate to get passed and not vetoed. If the Dems win the senate and hold the house and Biden wins most likely the first two major attempts will be upgrading the ACA and rolling out a major infrastructure program and continue to support COVID related economic recovery, albeit probably more from the employee aspect.
