T4E has the best fix. Fast cure 5200 does not need to be flat as it is not self leveling like the Aqua seal. I have fixed many pairs of boots, waders, rain gear, etc with the method he has mentioned.

Another vote for aqua seal, do the inside and out. Just make sure you put something inside to keep them separated. If you don’t your waders will be fused together.
