Not called "The Greatest Generation" for nothing. Seems like everyone made huge sacrifices back then. Now, people whine if the electricity is off for an hour or your cell phone doesn't have reception for 5 minutes.

Just remember the old saying-"a good landing is any landing that you can walk away from......"

I've heard aircraft landings described as a controlled crash because the pilot is inducing the conditions needed to fall out of the sky.
