The Virginia Trappers Association will hold their annual convention in the mountains of Southwestern Virginia in the scenic small town of Bland. Y'all come for a time of fun and camaraderie October 16/17. This convention is one of my very favorites to attend each year. We always have a great time there. Typically the vendors are Murrays, Epler, Seven Oaks, and others that I can't recall offhand. There will be just about anything you'll need there.

Friday night is pot-luck night, and you can't beat the food. I'll have a smoked salmon cheese ball on the table.

I am planning to be there with my usual NCTA table with some raffle tickets and NCTA logo merchandise. Might run off a knife or two on card decks as well and will have some wall hanger pelts to donate to the auction. Might have a chunk of summer sausage too.

Will have plenty of tickets for the 100 item NCNWTF raffle for sale for $10 each. A chance at a minimum of 100 items for .10 per item. Drawings start Dec. 1 and continue the entire month. This raffle benefits the NWTF and the NC trappers Association.
