I wish I could remember- I have been down in Texas so long I can run take off Bridgestone tires made for the pearl colored SUV Karen with the bob hair cut who wants to speak to your manager drives. I have rocks and almost no mud. In sugar sand thread pattern doesn't matter it is all about momentum.

They looked like old school ATV tires with square nobs sticking out of all the huge voids and they would hum a Waylon tune every time you got out on the black top and exceeded about 30mph

I just put the dirt commanders on a couple months ago. So far I haven't had any problems, they do make some noise but they seem to be doing great no flats and I drive down alot of dirt roads and the county drags all the trash out of the ditches when they grade. I pulled a guy out of a mud hole friday he was stuck pretty good at the river. I never spun a tire so i was impressed with them there.

Yeah the cooper at3s I've got one are on trapping season #3 and hoping to get this winter out of them yet before I change them next year. I left them on year round and they do pick up rocks like crazy. Im considering Falken next round. Nlt technically mids but I need something year round with mix of pavement and snow/mud/gravel.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Coopers AT3 I had lasted about a year. I had about a dozen flats. Lots of sharp gravel and like you said corn stubble. lol

Cooper tire's haven't been standing up here, Goodyear aka bad day I'll sell them to you if you insist but don't whine when they bust or hump up on you. You knock a chunk out of a side wall on a hankook just a few years old when breaking the bead on them. Every tire has their problems these are what we see most often in the tires that come in.

I agree Okie- the Coopers I ran never let me get stuck but if I had entered one of the mud a thons the chunks of mud I threw were big enough to cave in pick up cabs or start mud slides out in Cali. But I never worried about getting stuck from lack of traction

Those are the ones I've been leaning towards.

I just put on a set of Iron Man tires after running thunderers. World's of difference in the ride and less noise. But aggressive and the guys I know who have them say they wear like steel. We shall see.

I have been running the dirt commanders on my chevy for a few years. Just put a new set on the back, but will wait on fronts as they are still fair. They seem to hold up good against eastern KS abuse if that helps ya. I cut wood out of that truck and trap out of it when it is to muddy for the 2X yota (most of the time the last couple seasons). Come to think about it them tires got a lot of highway use as well. Made several trips to Wy and a few conventions on them tires, you can really hear them hummmmmm on the pavement.

I heard that about the Kendas, and it was total BS on my truck anyway.

The Ironman Tires look pretty good but about $25 ea more than I wanted to spend, but I'll look into them to see, it may very well be worth it.

Thanks bud. These will go a Crew Cab F150, hopefully get similar results if I decide to go with them.

BFG KM3 pretty much a mudterrain/ good in rock. Been running them 2 trapping seasons going into Third. Get what you pay for. Probably buy another set of Km3 when these wear out, but they are at half tread.

I’ve had Falkens on my Toyota for about a year now. They’ve been great tires in snow, mud and wet grass. I mostly use it as a hunt/trap/pasture truck but they ride nice on the highway as well.

Narrow Buckshots were the best years ago, BFG MT’s have been good tires, I’ve been through many many sets. The side walls seem to be the week point for me. Running Cooper STT’s now great tires on the ice and in deep snow. Don't take my 3/4 ton long bed off road to far as it’s mostly bottomless bog near me. Prices are so high anymore hate buying them but love a new set in the spring slop! Every time I’ve tried cheap mud tires the lugs don’t self clean and you may as well run an AT which is worthless in mud.

If it helps any decisions the iron man tires that I'm running were originally made by hercules and now hercules and iron man are owned by Cooper tire company.

Those were sold as fierce Mt tires not long ago. Ran them on our feed truck and held up good. Fierce were made by Goodyear and tire man said they were not gna make them anymore. Looks like another company took em over
