After I about give myself an asthma attack waiting in line at Lowe’s, I have curbed the use of a mask. When I’m asked about it in the stores now I challenge them to a push-up contest.

If masks aren't needed the looters and rioters are going to be much easier to identify.

I have numerous friends who are nurses and anesthesiologists (well studied in covid too) and they only wear the masks at work in order to get a check. Prior to covid the only time they wore ppe was operations or a highly infectious patient.

As far as the mask hurting you. I've worn a mask for over 20 yrs. I mean real mask not the little paper ones. I haven't studied up on it in a while but back in the day the pro's said wearing a mask would actually exercise your lungs and would condition one to breathe deeper. My bosses wife is an RN and every time she would stop by while we was working she would check my saturation level with my mask on and it was nearly always 98. I have my own clip on thing now and my level is always 98. I can trick it by holding my breath til I almost pass out and it will drop to like 88 but will quickly come back.

I think the old ways was better as far as Doctors. The new Doctors think in terms of germs and bacteria. Before all the edumacation came on scene the old Doctors would work til dinner time doing surgery or delivering babies then wash their hands instead of washing them before. I mean it just makes sense to get cleaned up before you go to the table.

I had some leased boars one time and one dropped dead and it was in my contract I had to have an autopsy. We loaded him up and took him 50 mi to a place. Backed up to the door and the vet already had one opened up on the table already and was sitting there beside him eating a baloney sandwich. He didn't offer me one but I wasn't all that hungry anyway.

States and cities shouldnt be able to make laws that masks are mandatory. Private businesses should be able to. Dont like it? Dont go there. People seem to think thwyre some sort of rebel by goin to walmart with no mask. Youre just smellin ur own nasty breath in a car though, dont get that one.

Can somebody post the cdc telling anybody a mask PREVENTS a person from getting covid? The concept is simple. When you cough or shout or speak loudly spit flies out of your pie hole. It cuts down on some of that. If YOU are infectious, less of your infectious spit might reach someone else. Keep your pie hole shut, and the mask does nothing.

I conducted a study and spit gets stuck on the mask.

Ya'' are asking the wrong people about what to do and what to avoid. Its the politicians that have all the answers concerning covid19 not doctors.

Your spit can't go around the sides of your mask like your breathe can. Your spit reaches the ground a lot faster than your breath.

I agree with the sentiment that most of the mask wearing is a wasted effort, but in certain conditions, it should reduce the transmission rate by some percentage.

Countries and states with the most strict and complied with mask mandates are still getting spikes of cases. Masks don't work for viruses. It's the cold with some bad symptoms in less than 1%of infections. Everybody will get it...
