Ted's Fur Shed and Dobbins Products have teamed up to do a trapping promotion for the younger generation that are trapping or interested to start trapping. Kid's 16 and under are invited to write a one page essay on why they like trapping or want to start trapping. The first 50 received will be sent a bottle of lure for either lynx (Ted's Meowch) or beaver (Dobbins Backbreaker) your preference. The twelve best essay's will also receive a Bridger #3 for lynx or a Bridger #5 for beaver trapping. The contest will end when we receive 50 essay's or November 1st whichever comes first. Thanks for this offer. My 10 year old was quite excited and it made for a great writing project for him. Maybe my 8 year old will get his finished and sent in as well. I think my wife attached a few pictures of ther first season.

Thank you for the essay tell your 8 year old there's plenty left for him so get his entry sent! I am truly enjoying this I love reading the essay's

I will remind my wife to work on it with him. If they don't get it completed I will help him with it when I get home from work this weekend.

Congratulations to everyone that entered the essay contest. I absolutely loved reading them! We ended up with 15 entry's so I'm going to send everyone some lure and a trap I'll be contacting everyone to see what kind of lure and trap they want. Thank you all for participating! My boys have been watching the mail and fed x/Ups trucks with anticipation . Its neat to see them get so excited.

Thanks again this was a great project for them.

Edit: Their package arrived today. They came running in more excitement in there eyes than xmas morning. Looks like they will be setting steel for some flat tails, along with coyote, fox, and coons. With an emphasis on beaver in those new traps.

Those bridger #5s are nice. The nipple on the dog was new to me.

Wow, my oldest son, 8 yo...was so excited he called me at work yesterday to tell me the trap and lure arrived in the mail. ...he was even more ecstatic when I showed him that you had his first and last name stamped on the underside of the Bridger 5 special.
