When Sotomayor's confirmation hearing was being heard. Klobuchar's questions mostly had nothing to do with Sotomayor's qualifications, but one of her main questions to Sotomayor was asking who her favorite character was on a popular vampire series that was popular at the time. It was known that Sotomayor was a fan of that series. I mention this because Klobuchar said some of the republican's questions having nothing to do with ACB's qualifications to be a member of SCOTUS and are off topic.

I saw Romney at the Republican Straw Poll event in Ames, Iowa one time. Romney went out of his way to court any voter he could. He even chartered Greyhound type buses to bring people to the event. He also hired Famous Dave's BBQ to cater the event. Anything for a vote, I guess.

To show a stark contrast in candidates; I also happened to run into Mike Huckabee at the event too. Do you know what he was handing out to those in attendance? Cheez-Its.
