I always have, but curious to see what everyone else does. Can’t learn new thing with an “it’s always been done this way” attitude

If it goes in a set, or is used to make a set it gets boiled. The only exception is polyfill I just cut and air it out. Like has been posted a thousand times a canine will know you were there. Here fox are extremely stupid and have no fear of man related scent . You can make a set with a dirty trap and bare hands and still have first night catches. They are about as challenging as skunk. Cats about the same but much fewer and further between. Coyotes whole nuther game, few first night young and dumb but more turn up as the set cools down. I use naturally occurring vegetation, sage or pine in my boil as a nose blocker, seems to help.

Don’t treat pan covers.
