What do you guys use to do this . Seems like a pain to get it off . Especially on bottom of mb 650 pan

Just wiggle the dog back and forth Against the pan notch until most of it rubs off. If you have a lot of excess wax on the trap you aren’t getting the trap up to temp before pulling it out of the wax. Done right it will be a super thin coating

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

Dremel with a wire brush.

make SURE to use eye protection/goggles...they fling wires from the brush.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

Just set a bunch of fresh waxed MBs and had no issue.

Wish I had more time to trap....

What Hobbie said.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

In the field with a pocket knife or slide the dog back and fourth under the pan also does a good job for me.

Knife or trowel. It's really not that hard.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

I've used everything from my pocket knife (usually) to my trowel and even and sharp rock!

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure
