To leave your combine overnight when you're cutting beans in the hood. Steal the tires and wheels right off it. [Linked Image]

The work that some people will put into a life of crime to avoiding "working"... makes as much sense as the Dems questioning ACB!

Ouch! That's expensive! Everything here (combines) look's like they been in a fire, it's so dry! Whataboutthere?

Hopefully your just joking? But sadly it's been happening up here in Illinois too. Local JD dealer got a 4020 in on Friday and by the time they came back in on M9nday morning someone stole all 4 tires off it. Takes more than just a street thug to steal tractor tires.

Dang......and I thought the one seen today sitting in a field burnt was bad. I guess tires and wheels are cheaper though.

farmers have insurance to cover this sort a thing?

Just spoofing guys. Broke the main pin holding the rear end together. Had to pull rear axle assembly out to repair it. The ground is harder than a carp this year with a lot of deep washed out spots. Have broke all kinds of parts on the 2 combines this year trying to get over it,including 2 tye rod arms and a tire and rim.

Great to hear that you are spoofing. Maybe you should slow down a bit with the combine. It's not meant to drag race.

wanna be goat farmer.

Good thing beans have gone up about $1.50 or so a bushel if you are going to have that much repair work needed due to rough field conditions. We got an inch of rain here a few days ago so now one just sees a trail of dust, prior to the rain you could not see the combine many times. We had one burn up in the field a few weeks ago. More expensive then losing an average home with everything in it.
