bctomcat trapper Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 2,794 100 Mile House, BC Can	For marten and fisher it's my opinion the sweet lure is more effective, for both species, than the skunky lure except maybe in extreme cold conditions. But then, it’s also my opinion most marten stay primarily under the snow cover during these extreme conditions. In any event the wife likes the sweet lure better, and I must admit I do also. The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

trappergbus trapper T Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 5,445 Southern Michigan	I add Graw's sweet skunk to a food lure I make for late season work. Yotes and fox dig down thru snow to get at it. Without sweet skunk they don't. I also add a drop or 2 to urine to change it a bit. Common sense catches alot of fur.. Pay homage to all you harvest..
