I have a very small fur shed and a larger one is not in the cards for this year. Are there any good ways to store beaver pelts that does not require them to lay flat? I am thinking I could hang then on a fur hanger by a loop or through an eye hole. Any other ideas or reason the fur hanger wouldn't work. Thanks on advance and tight chains.

Take all your hides place them fur to fur skin to skin then sandwich them between 2 beaver boards and either hang them up or stand them up In the corner. This system will keep your hides from curling up.

I lay mine flat on ground in corner of room on a piece of double cardboard, fur to fur & skin to skin, with piece of cardboard on top one. My pack basket i lay on top to add weight to help control curling

If your storing dried pelts over the winter, store them in fur shipping bags. The bags can be hung or stacked.
If you are going to store them over the summer put the bags of fur in the freezer or the pelts will get all eaten up from dermested beetles and larvae.
