I’ve been doing some hiking and scouting and noticed some large very unique curly turds in a certain area. Don’t laugh but can I assume that this might be the same coyote? I’m thinking it’s an alpha male as he drops them in very noticeable locations. I know to obviously set on sign but how would you set to target this adult male in an effort to get him first? Thanks

Be sure to follow the coyotes example and Mark your territory.

I have met some people that I thought were pretty good coyote trappers, but never heard any of them say a turd came from a alpha coyote male or female. You must really be a step up, or have a good imagination one.

Don’t laugh but I’ve thought of marking his with my own and putting a camera on it to see what just might investigate, lol. Figure it’s water, protein, and carbs...may actually like it.

I dont know about coyotes,but I know you can tell the size of a bear by the diameter of his turds.
Beer bottle size-go get him.

Set your traps next to some campaign signs and wait for him to express himself.

you could be right , set a trap close by and see what you catch , maybe bring in some turd's , from a different area ,
