The truck Is loaded with coyote gear. Checked with all my landowners today to make sure I have permission. Even picked up 2 new farms.

I have 18 rats In the freezer from my ADC job so I have fresh bait.

Good luck all. I've decided to try and eliminate some coyote this year. Haven't trapped them hard for about 15 years. Way to many where I deer hunt.

50 years trapping and hopefully another 50 still to come. OK, let's hope for 15 more.

Will start the 24th with flat water rats and about Nov 1 will run a multi-species line with moving water, canines and coon until deer gun. After that will wait until the water gets hard. Good luck to all. First time I will be in the river for 2-3 seasons. Will see how the sign looks after two years of frequent flooding.

I've been looking around for the trapping regulations pamphlet. I like to keep it handy. None of the stores I've been to have got them in yet. Strange. I can always look online I guess

So much for "dry" land trapping in Northern Wisconsin!

Itís a shame a young ambitious guy canít make it work. His timing is off, markets are making it impossible to rely fur income.
Trapping is going by the way of trophy hunting. Wealthy and elite

I don't know him, but the work ethic he showed on his threads tells me he will succeed in whatever he does.

My boys, 7 and 10 year old, wanted to get right after it this year, here's yesterdays haul, starting to question my sanity, lol. They love it though. I'm making the older boy use 1 1/2's this year, so at least he's learning something. He's not afraid to learn some skinning cuts either.

Good job, this is a good year for a youngster to learn how to skin and put up fur.
